The Abdullah Al Salem University team achieved an outstanding accomplishment by securing first place across the Arab world  in the Ball Collector category at the 17th Arab Robotics Championship (ARC 17), held in Alexandria, the Arab Republic of Egypt, with teams from universities across the Arab world taking part.

The team comprised students Muslim Jawish and Mishari Al-Mulaifi, under the supervision of Ms. Rand Younes. Over the course of two months, the team designed, built, and programmed a fully autonomous robot capable of collecting balls and sorting them according to color. This achievement reflects the team’s engineering excellence, technological innovation, and collaborative spirit.

This accomplishment highlights the capabilities of Abdullah Al Salem University students in engineering and robotics, as well as their commitment to developing innovative technological solutions and competing in Arab-level competitions. It also reflects the creativity and excellence demonstrated by the University’s students.
