As part of its commitment to direct communication with students and to introduce them to its academic programs Abdullah Al Salem University, represented by its Public Relations and Communication Department, has inaugurated its University Admission Fair for the 2026/2027 academic year. The event runs from June 29 to July 1, 2026, over three days, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Building 19Kh on the Khaldiya campus

During the opening, University President Professor Mona Suleiman Al-Ahmad emphasized that the fair is designed to empower students to select majors that align with their interests and ambitions. She explained that the university opened the fair to students and their parents to explore colleges, programs, and available specializations, and to receive direct guidance from experts who can answer all questions. This ensures applicants are well-informed before applying for distinguished seats at the university

The fair features broad participation from both government and private sector institutions, including the Civil Service Commission, the Kuwait Society of Engineers, and several banks. According to Prof. Al-Ahmad, this collaboration helps provide students with a comprehensive picture of their academic and professional future, extending to postgraduate studies

Applications for admission will be accepted online from July 2 to July 15 for all colleges, while applications for the College of Medicine and Health Sciences will be open from July 2 to July 7. The electronic system allows students to submit required documents automatically from official entities without the need for in-person visits

All university colleges, departments, centers, and student clubs are participating in the fair, giving students and parents the opportunity to learn about academic programs, services, and student activities in one place, and to engage directly with faculty and staff

The fair is sponsored by Boubyan Bank, Weyay Bank, and Tam Bank, who supported this educational initiative as part of their commitment to advancing education and contributing to meaningful community engagement
