AASU President Receives Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Kuwait

The President of Abdullah Al-Salem University, Professor Mona Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, received today, Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the State of Kuwait, Ms. Lulwa Mohammed Al-Binali, at the University’s Khaldiya Campus. The meeting was attended by the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs and Assessment, Professor Fawaz Al-Enezi.

On this occasion, Professor Al-Ahmad welcomed the Cultural Counselor and highlighted the deep-rooted and longstanding fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as their continued development across various fields, particularly higher education and scientific research.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed Abdullah Al-Salem University’s development, academic vision, and the distinctive programs offered by its colleges, which are designed to meet labor market needs and prepare highly qualified national talent capable of contributing to the country’s development. They also discussed opportunities to strengthen academic cooperation and exchange expertise with educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For her part, Ms. Al-Binali expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and commended the achievements of Abdullah Al-Salem University since its establishment, wishing the University continued progress and prosperity.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides exchanged commemorative plaques and posed for photographs to mark the occasion.
