The Innovation Center is a key strategic unit at the University. It has made clear progress in building and developing an effective institutional innovation system, led by the Institutional Innovation Framework (FIS), which serves as the main strategic reference for the innovation sector.
This framework connects different innovation drivers at the institutional level and supports the adoption of innovation practices across national institutions in a structured and integrated manner.
In this context, the Center has contributed to the design and implementation of several projects and initiatives that support institutional innovation, in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.
The Center works to strengthen cooperation and communication with both public and private sectors in the field of innovation, while also supporting the University’s strategic plans to build a strong and sustainable innovation ecosystem with long-term impact.
The mission of the Innovation Center is to promote a culture of institutional innovation and to support the business and knowledge environment through strong partnerships that create added value and deliver real impact within Abdullah Al Salem University and beyond.
The Center achieves this by leading focused initiatives and projects that support creativity, sustainability, and institutional growth, with special attention to social impact, transparency, collaboration among colleges and centers, and the development of human capabilities in innovation and entrepreneurship.
In line with the University’s strategic goals and key performance indicators, the Innovation Center ensures that all its projects and initiatives contribute to advancing the University’s vision and strengthening its commitment to excellence in education, research, and community service.
