Application Opening for Graduate Programs at Abdullah Al Salem University for the Academic Year 2026/2027

(Part time/Full time)

Abdullah Al Salem University (AASU) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the master's programs listed below. The application deadline is March 9, 2026, and submissions can be made through the following website: https://aasu.creatrixcampus.com/public/lead/add

First: Offered Programs

  1. Energy Systems Engineering
  2. Biomedical Engineering
  3. Cybersecurity Engineering
  4. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  5. FinTech and Risk Management

Second: General Rules and Conditions for Application Submission

  1. The applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree from a university accredited by ABET or an equivalent academic accreditation body recognized by the respective college.
  2. Required GPA: The overall GPA for a bachelor's degree must not be less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Applications will only be considered from graduates of academic institutions whose systems are compatible with Abdullah Al Salem University. Applications from graduates of other systems, such as distance learning, correspondence education, or open universities and institutes, will not be considered.
  4. Applicants must meet the language requirements specified for each program. Results of English language tests are accepted, provided the test is valid at the time of application and its date does not exceed two years.
  5. Abdullah Al Salem University may recalculate the applicants' overall GPA according to the rules and regulations of the university to standardize evaluation criteria.
  6. Applicants must submit their applications electronically during the designated application period via the official website.
  7. Applicants must meet the specific conditions of the program they are applying for.
  8. Any incomplete application, or one that contains inaccurate information or unclear attachments, will be rejected upon discovery.
  9. Meeting the application requirements does not guarantee admission to the program. Admission is based on additional criteria such as admission exams. Selection is determined according to the capacity of each program individually.
  10. Invitations to admission exams do not imply that the application requirements are met or complete. Applications are reviewed and evaluated concurrently to reduce the processing time for review and assessment.
  11. Failure to attend the admission exam (if applicable) will result in the application being cancelled.
  12. If an applicant is nominated for admission, they must finalize their application by submitting all required documents within the timeframe specified by the university. Failure to comply or any discrepancies between the submitted attachments and original documents will result in rejection and cancellation of the application.
  13. After completing all application, nomination, and documentation procedures, candidates selected for admission will be notified via email.
  14. All correspondence between Abdullah Al Salem University and the applicant will be conducted exclusively via email. Applicants are fully responsible for receiving emails, including checking their inbox or other folders such as Spam or Junk.
  15. The university reserves the right, without providing reasons, to suspend admissions to any announced programs and reject all applications for those programs.

Third: Required Documents for Application

Applicants must complete the admission application and submit all required documents during the application period, as follows:

  1. All final transcripts showing the grades of each course taken by the applicant during their undergraduate studies at any local or international academic institution, including transcripts for transferred courses. This applies to all applicants without exception. Expected graduates must provide the most recent transcript.
  2. The grading scale for each transcript.
  3. Graduation certificates of the applicant.
  4. A valid copy of the civil ID.
  5. For residents with an illegal status: a copy of the security card issued by the Central Agency for Remedying the Status of Illegal Residents, which must be valid.
  6. A copy of the data pages from a valid passport.
  7. An equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education for applicants who are not graduates of Kuwait University.
  8. Language test results as per the specific program requirements, provided the test date is within two years from the time of application.
  9. A certificate from the Public Institution for Social Security confirming that the applicant is not employed (for full-time enrolment).
  10. All additional documents specified in the requirements of the program to which the application is being submitted.
